This policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you use Hevma. It applies to:

- Individuals interacting with our AI assistant
- Users who register to be notified at launch

Hevma is an AI-driven housing platform that provides data-driven insights to support better home-buying decisions.
The Service is provided for informational purposes only. No AI-generated recommendation constitutes legally binding advice or professional guidance.
4. Categories of Personal Data Processed
We process the following types of information:
4.1 Information You Provide Explicitly
- Account information: Email address and optionally name when registering for the waitlist.
- Identity verification: When using the feature “I own this property”, we collect your personal identity number via BankID to verify your identity.
- Official housing data: We retrieve registered address and apartment number from the Swedish Population Address Register (SPAR) to confirm your connection to the property being valued.
- Search behavior and user interactions:
Information about how you use the Service, including but not limited to:- search filters (price range, areas, property type)
- properties you click on
- time spent viewing listings
- questions and preferences shared with the AI chat
- Preferences: Information you choose to share (e.g. budget, area, family situation) to improve results.
4.2 Data Collected Automatically
- Logs: Interactions with the AI and metadata (timestamp, IP address, device type, browser).
- Cookies: Minimal cookies used for technical functionality and basic analytics.
5. Purposes of Processing
We process your data in order to:
- Provide the Service: Manage the waitlist and contact you at launch
- Personalisation: Tailor recommendations to your needs
- Security: Prevent misuse and protect the integrity of the Service
6. AI and Automated Processing
- AI is used to filter and rank information
- No automated decision-making: AI does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects
- Human control: You always remain in control of how the information is used

Data sharing:
Hevma does not currently share personal data with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
If future features are introduced (e.g. lead sharing with real estate agents or banking partners), such sharing will only occur after you have provided explicit and voluntary consent within the Service.

- Retention period: Data is stored as long as you remain on the waitlist or until deletion is requested.

- Request a copy of your personal data (BankID required for identity verification; delivered within 30 days)

- Withdraw consent for future data sharing at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)
